A little more than 15 years ago, American statesman Lyndon LaRouche penned a major article for Fidelio magazine, in which he pointed to the case of British Lord Bertrand Russell as the key to opening the eyes of the world’s educated elite, to the danger of the imposition of a world Malthusian empire, dominated by the British imperial system. The extensive article, entitled “How Bertrand Russell Became An Evil Man, Reflections Upon Tragedy & Hope,” dated July 23 by the author, was printed in the Fall 1994 edition of the Schiller Institute’s magazine.

(Note: Author LaRouche does not support this characterization of Moses Maimonides. This footnote was inserted by then EIR editor, Nora Hamerman, who soon broke with LaRouche over related issues. Enemies of LaRouche took control of EIR and related publications shortly after his fraudulent imprisonment in January 1989. A rabid convert to Buckley family-style Carlist gnosticism, anti-Semite Fernando Quijano was the leader of the clique, controlled by LaRouche’s intelligence community adversaries. Quijano tendered his resignation from EIR to LaRouche on learning that LaRouche was being released from imprisonment.
