I was invited to give a presentation around the issues of Wi-Fi in Schools and the digital technology that our children are using.

I think that is is very important that we begin to recognise the possible risks to especially children, but also teachers from chronic exposure to Wi-Fi and other wireless technologies.

Discussed are the technical aspects of wireless data transmission, the effects on the body and the consequences and symptoms of exposure, including a discussion on electro-sensitivity. The latest report on the safety of children commissioned by the Ministry of Education is reviewed and also talked about is what can practically be done to limit exposure at school and in the home. Also discussed is the effect that digital technologies are having on our children and young adults.
