A depressed schizophrenic who developed narcolepsy after being given the swine flu vaccine jumped off a multi-storey car park a day after seeing a psychologist, a coroner heard.

Katie Clack, 23, a nursery assistant, threw herself off a shopping centre car park in Peterborough in September 2014.

In the preceding 18 months she had suffered from psychosis and clinical depression which was brought after she was diagnosed with narcolepsy, a rare disorder that affects the brain’s ability to regulate the normal sleep-wake cycle.

She contracted the condition after she received the Pandemrix vaccine in 2009 to inoculate against swine flu.
