Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is preparing to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in London for the first time since he was granted political asylum two years ago, according to reports.
British newspapers have in last few days been reporting Assange is suffering a range of illnesses, including heart and lung conditions and high blood pressure.
Ecuador granted the 43-year-old political asylum after the British government agreed to extradite him to Sweden, where he faces allegations of sexual assault.
Sky News reports Ecuadorian journalists have entered the embassy to interview Assange, and confirmed he will leave the building.
