Hillary Suggested Obama Assassination, Yet Media Blasts Trump

Video: Clinton counted on death of Obama to win 2008 nomination
by Kit Daniels
In 2008, Hillary Clinton cited the possible assassination of Barack Obama as the reason why she was staying in the presidential race despite falling far behind, a comment the media is ignoring while accusing Donald Trump of advocating the death of Clinton.
Clinton, who ultimately lost the 2008 nomination to Obama, said she fought to the bitter end because Robert F. Kennedy was assassinated just weeks before the 1968 Democratic National Convention.

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until… the middle of June, and we all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California,” she said in an interview.

It appeared Hillary was counting on the death of Obama to win the 2008 Democratic nomination, which of course never happened.
The mainstream media, as usual, ignored Hillary’s assassination statement while attacking Trump over his Second Amendment comment on Tuesday.
“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment,” Trump said during a rally in Wilmington, N.C. “By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks.”
“Though the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

Media pundits claimed Trump was suggesting that “Hillary Clinton could be assassinated” to defend gun rights.
“By any objective analysis, this is a new low and unprecedented in the history of American presidential politics,” former CBS anchor Dan Rather wrote. “This is no longer about policy, civility, decency or even temperament.”
“This is a direct threat of violence against a political rival.”
But may Rather – and the rest of the media – are confusing Trump’s statement with Hillary’s veiled threat toward Obama as well as Joe Biden’s 2008 threat also directed at Obama.
“I’ve got two [guns], and if [Obama] tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem,” Biden said during a campaign speech to blue dog Democrats in Virginia.

Flashback: Hillary Strategist Calls for Assassination of Wikileaks’ Julian Assange

“There’s only one way to do it: illegally shoot the son of a bitch”
by Adan Salazar

US special ops should be used to assassinate Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, liberal Democrat strategist Bob Beckel once said during an interview on Fox.

“A dead man can’t leak stuff,” Beckel told Fox Business’ Eric Bolling in a 2010 interview. “This guy’s a traitor, he’s treasonous, and he has broken every law of the United States. And I’m not for the death penalty, so… there’s only one way to do it: illegally shoot the son of a bitch.”
The remarks were highlighted by the media organization Wednesday amid a media meltdown over the source of the Democrat National Committee leaks which have led to the resignation of four DNC employees.
On Tuesday, Assange suggested on a Dutch television program that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich could possibly be behind the devastating leaks exposing how Democrat operatives loyal to Hillary Clinton rigged the nomination against opponent Bernie Sanders.
Beckel was later fired from Fox and hired as a CNN election commentator in October 2015.
Wikileaks also compiled a video showing how Beckel’s not the only one who’s publicly called for the extrajudicial murder of Assange.

Flashback: Clinton Suggested Obama Would Be Assassinated

While leftists go ape over Trump’s Second Amendment comments, a reminder that Hillary literally said Obama might be murdered in 2008.
by Steve Watson
Leftists and corporate media talking heads are en mass losing their minds over comments made by Donald Trump yesterday that ‘Second Amendment people could stop Hillary’, suggesting that Trump was calling for Clinton to be assassinated. Yet, it is obvious that Trump was suggesting no such thing, and it’s deliciously ironic that in 2008 Hillary literally said that her opponent, then Senator Obama, could be assassinated in a Robert Kennedy like hit.
Here’s what Trump said:

As both Trump’s running mate Mike Pence, and several others have pointed out, Trump was talking about Hillary’s pledge to enact strict gun control, and the fact that gun owners could stop her by voting against her.
“I think what Donald Trump is clearly saying was that people who cherish that right, people who believe that firearms in the hands of law abiding citizens make our communities more safe, not less safe, should be involved in the political process and let their voice be heard,” Pence said.
Anyone with half a brain can work out that while Trump’s comments were clunky, he did not in any way suggest Hillary Clinton should be assassinated. It takes a giant leap of logic to suggest such a thing.
Yet here are some of the headlines that followed:

GOP senator: No one should ‘joke’ about harming candidates

Dem senator: Trump made ‘assassination threat’

Ex-CIA chief: Trump comment would get someone else a ride in ‘police wagon’

Dem rep: Secret Service must investigate Trump

Ex-GOP senator urges RNC to replace Trump

The most ironic thing in all of this is that, unlike Trump, Hillary Clinton has actually suggested in the past that her political opponents could be killed off.
In 2008, Hillary declared that she wouldn’t drop out of the presidential race against Barack Obama, despite trailing way behind, because ‘anything can happen’ and then she cited the assassination of RFK.

“We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.” Hillary stated at the time.
Hillary’s campaign went into spin mode almost immediately, saying that people “misinterpreted what she meant,” and that “people did not understand the context in which she made this reference”.
Yet, Hillary was quick to walk back the remarks after the Obama campaign denounced them.
“The Kennedys have been much on my mind the last days because of Senator Kennedy (who had recently passed away) and I regret that if my referencing that moment of trauma for our entire nation, and particularly for the Kennedy family, was in any way offensive,” Clinton said. “I certainly had no intention of that whatsoever.”
Obama responded, stating “I have learned that when you are campaigning for as many months as Sen. Clinton and I have been campaigning, sometimes you get careless in terms of the statements that you make, and I think that is what happened here. Sen. Clinton says that she did not intend any offense by it, and I will take her at her word on that.”

Trump reacted to the criticism of his comments in an appearance on Fox News Tuesday night:
“This is a political movement. This is a strong powerful movement, the Second Amendment. Hillary wants to take your guns away,” he said, adding “She wants to leave you unprotected in your home. This is a tremendous political movement.”
“And there can be no other interpretation. Even reporters have told me. I mean, give me a break.” Trump declared.

Biden Threatens Obama With Gun In 2008, Yet Media Attacks Trump

In 2008, Joe Biden made a personal threat to Barack Obama if he infringes the Second Amendment as president, which was more severe than the statement Donald Trump made the media claimed advocated the assassination of Hillary Clinton.
