If you follow the global warming…I mean climate change…I mean climate disruption debate, you’ve probably heard about the latest and gloomiest Federal climate report.
Weather Channel co-founder John Coleman calls it a “600 page litany of doom” based on a failed theory.
Author and meteorologist Brian Sussman summarizes it as the White House accusing Americans of “literally destroying the Earth as we know it” because of our “carbon pollution.” Brian goes on to point out we should expect nothing less from John Holdren, who is an eco-radical and also happens to be President Obama’s science adviser.
It still amazes me how carbon dioxide has been made out to be this horrible thing when it actually is the single most essential limiting ingredient for plant growth. It’s plant food! The more carbon dioxide we feed plants the faster they grow. Dr. Robert Zubrin, who is featured in BLUE, shows in the film how, since 1958, the rate of wild plant growth on this planet has increased by 15%. Why? Primarily because of increases in this so-called “pollutant.”
H. Leighton Steward, whom I also interviewed for BLUE, runs a website called PlantsNeedCO2.org. I highly recommend checking it out. Leighton is a very qualified gentleman. In the film we discuss in depth how the empirical evidence just doesn’t back up these catastrophic forecasts.
Dear White House: CO2 is not “carbon pollution” but is a life-giving miracle gas! None of the empirical evidence suggests it is the big driver of climate change (i.e. the weather).
In this bonus clip from the Blue Beats Green YouTube channel Leighton explains how we can get to the bottom of this madness: FOLLOW THE MONEY!

It has turned into feeding frenzy between these groups. There’s millions to be had. Forget what’s right.
And the money keeps piling up, as Sen. Jim Inhofe recently pointed out, billionaire alarmist Tom Steyer’s has $100,000,000 in ClimateCoin up for grabs through his NextGen PAC.
Dr. Roy Spencer, a Senior Research Fellow at the Cornwall Alliance, also shreds the new climate report to pieces on his blog. He is in full agreement with Leighton:
Follow the money, folks. This glitzy, 840-page report took a lot of your tax dollars to generate, and involved only those “experts” who are willing to play the game. It is difficult to answer in its entirety because government has billions of dollars to invest in this, while most of us who try to bring some sanity to the issue must do it in our spare time, because we aren’t paid to do it. It is nowhere near balanced regarding science, costs-versus-benefits, or implied policy outcomes. Like the previous two National Assessment reports, it takes global climate models which cannot even hindcast what has happened before, which over-forecast global average warming, which are known to have essentially zero skill for regional (e.g. U.S.) predictions, and uses them anyway to instill fear into the masses, so that we might be led to safety by politicians.
Dr. Spencer happens to be a climatologist and former NASA scientist. He’s not alone in his convictions but stands with over 30,000 American scientists who are also shunned by big media and big government.
Its time to get back to reality. While the emperor is stark-naked, things are not as bad as they are made out to be. The truth will be made known. Science beats alarmism. #BlueBeatsGreen
