Gluckman: the evil Demiurge of the Royal Society

Atlas Monitor | 25 Aug 2014

Dr Peter Gluckman, the Prime Minister’s chief science advisor, demonstrated beyond doubt that he is the evil Demiurge of the Royal Society (RS) as he and the hobgoblins of the RS wage epistemological warfare on the water drinkers of New Zealand.

A recent review on the health effects of water fluoridation, conducted by a panel of pro-fluoridationistas masquerading as scientists, predictably found that water fluoridation was beneficial with no evidence for adverse effects.

The timing of the review coincides with increased opposition to water fluoridation demonstrated by the Rotorua District Council’s decision to take the issue off the agenda for the foreseeable future.

Arguments presented at a tribunal in Hamilton in 2013 compelled councillors to stop water fluoridation before a sham referendum overturned that decision. Close analysis of the referendum notes that 17% of the total population was enough to force the HCC to reinstate the fluoridation policy in what was championed as a triumph of democracy by the pro-fluoride lobby.

The review ought to be viewed as a highly suspect and politically motivated stunt by an oligarchy of epistemological gatekeepers who have assumed authority as the truth rather than the truth as authority.

Chairman of the review committee Gluckman admitted before the report was published that the review would only look at research that supports fluoridationists’ belief in ‘the safety and efficacy of fluoride in water’

In other episodes of Orwellian propagandizing the University of Waikato has commissioned a similar study that is intended to deliver a predetermined outcome ; reinforcing the pro-fluoride position as did a study conducted in Dunedin.

It would seem that a coterie of pseudo-scientific charlatans have mobilized all available resources in an attempt to kill any debate on this subject by deploying patently unscientific memes such as “consensus” to claim proof of their bald assertions.

All this despite an abundance of contrary and well established evidence.

Fortunately in an age of high tech communications and rapid dissemination of information people can conduct their own investigations and come to their own conclusions independent of the establishment cabal that for so long has kept the masses oblivious to their malfeasance, hubris and arrogance.
